First steps

How therapy with me works.

From the first message to regular sessions — what to expect, and what you don’t need to have figured out in advance.

Three steps

Beginning is simpler than it feels.

  1. Write a few lines

Use the form or email. Mention what brings you, whether you prefer Łódź or online, and English or Polish.

  2. A first conversation

A 60-minute session to get to know each other, look at what you need and see whether my way of working fits you.

  3. Continue at your pace

If we continue, we agree on a rhythm — often weekly or every two weeks — and review it along the way.

What holds the work.

Confidentiality

What you share stays between us, within the legal and ethical limits of the profession. I explain these limits openly in our first session.

Working with other professionals

Therapy does not replace psychiatric or medical care. With your consent, I am glad to coordinate with your psychiatrist or doctor.

Your pace

Nothing has to be said before you are ready. Especially in body-oriented work, we go step by step.

Honest feedback

You can always tell me what helps and what doesn’t. Therapy is a shared process, and your experience of it matters.

Questions & answers

What people often ask.

How do I know whether therapy is right for me?

You don’t need to know in advance. If something keeps weighing on you, repeats itself, or you feel you are carrying too much alone, a first conversation can clarify whether therapy — and this way of working — could help.

What happens in the first session?

You tell me what brings you, in your own words. I ask a few questions and explain how I work. At the end we decide together whether and how to continue. There is no obligation.

How long does therapy take?

It varies. Some people come for a few focused sessions around one question; others choose longer work. Therapy does not always have to take years — we review regularly what you need.

What if I don’t know what to say?

That is completely fine and very common. We can start with what you notice right now — including uncertainty or nervousness. The body often shows the way when words are missing.

Can I combine therapy with medication?

Yes. Many people I work with are also supported by a psychiatrist. Questions about medication belong with your doctor; with your consent, we can work together.

What does it cost?

I share information about fees personally. Just ask in your first message or when we speak.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you are in danger or in acute crisis, please call 112 or the 24/7 support line 800 70 2222.
