Couples therapy · on request

Understanding your patterns — together.

For couples who keep ending up in the same argument, or who feel more distance than they would like. Sessions of 60 minutes, in Łódź or online, in English or Polish.

Two soft bands of light crossing on a pale pink wall

When two nervous systems meet, both react.

In a conflict, it is rarely only about the topic. One partner may speed up, get louder or push for an answer; the other may go quiet, withdraw or shut down. Both are often trying to feel safe — in opposite ways.

In couples sessions I combine a body-oriented view from Somatic Experiencing® with the Gestalt focus on contact: how you actually meet each other, and where that contact breaks off. The aim is not to decide who is right, but to understand the pattern you create together — and to find other ways of meeting.

How the work helps

Less repetition, more contact.

Slowing down conflict

Noticing activation early, pausing and returning to the conversation before it escalates.

Seeing the pattern

Recognising the circle you both get caught in — without blame, and with more curiosity.

Making contact again

Finding words, closeness and boundaries that both of you can live with.

What couples often bring

You are not the only ones.

Arguments that keep repeating

Distance or loneliness within the relationship

Big decisions: moving, children, careers

Rebuilding trust after it was hurt

Different needs for closeness and space

Stress from outside that lands between you

Take the first step together.

One of you can write for both of you — a few lines are enough.
