Individual therapy — at your pace.

Sessions for adults who want to understand what is happening inside them and find a way forward that feels right in the body, not only in the head. In Łódź or online, in English or Polish.

Who it is for

When something wants to change.

People come to individual therapy with very different stories. What they often share is the sense that understanding alone has not been enough.

  • Stress and overwhelm
  • Anxiety and inner restlessness
  • Feeling stuck despite understanding
  • Repeating relationship patterns
  • After difficult or traumatic experiences
  • Life transitions and decisions
  • Exhaustion and burnout
  • Feeling numb or far away
  • Boundaries and self-worth
  • Loss and change

What a session can look like

Talking, sensing — and finding the next step.

Each session is 60 minutes. We usually start with what is present for you today. From there, the conversation can move between words, the body and the question of what would help now.

Naming

Putting words to what is happening — a situation, a conflict, a mood, a decision.

Sensing

Including the body: breath, tension, restlessness, numbness, and the small signs of settling.

Finding the next step

Clarifying a boundary, a conversation, a decision — or a new way of staying present with yourself.

Therapy does not always have to take years.

Some people come for a few focused sessions around a specific question or decision. Others choose longer work because they want to understand deeper patterns and give change time to settle.

Both are valid. We look together at what you need, review how the work feels along the way, and you can pause or finish at any point. My aim is not to keep you in therapy, but to help something move.

Questions

About individual therapy.

What happens in the first session?

We get to know each other. You tell me what brings you, in your own words and at your own pace, and I will ask a few questions. Together we look at what you hope for and whether my way of working fits you. There is no obligation to continue.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no fixed number. Some people find a few focused sessions enough; others choose longer work. We review regularly how the work feels and what you need next.

Do you work with trauma?

Yes, carefully. Somatic Experiencing® was developed for working with stress and the after-effects of overwhelming experiences. We go step by step and at a pace your nervous system can manage — you do not have to retell everything in detail.

Can therapy be combined with psychiatric treatment?

Yes. Therapy does not replace medical or psychiatric care, but the two often complement each other well. With your consent, I am happy to coordinate with your psychiatrist or doctor.

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. What you share stays between us, within the legal and ethical limits of the profession — which I will explain in the first session.

Begin with one conversation.

Write a few lines about what brings you. I will reply within two working days.
